I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember. The church has always been a central part of my life—serving, leading, raising my family in it, and being deeply involved in community. For many years, I believed I understood what healthy church life looked like. Then everything slowed down. During a season where much of normal church life was stripped away, I found myself seeking God in a quieter, more intentional way. Without all the activity, I began to notice things I hadn’t fully seen before—not just around me, but in my own understanding of faith, church, and truth. That season led me to ask deeper questions. I began looking more carefully at Scripture—not just through what I had been taught, but in its context.
